In particular I’m looking for a super wide Minolta AF fit, and also something in the 200 or 300mm range with an apperture of F2.8 or lower – again Minolta AF fit.
Mail order or high street stores – doesn’t mater either way. If the bargain is good enough, I’m willing to travel.
Just to re-itterate.
I’m looking for places in the UK.
US stores and classifieds sites aren’t any use to me.
Have you checked craigslist? I got a great deal on ebay, but I got my best deal on craigslist.
I don’t know about the shipping, but B&H and Adorama both sell new and used equipment. I have bought an older Minolta flash from Adorama. And I have bought most of my new equipment from them. B&H still carries some ‘new’ Minolta stock.
KEH is another one you might look at.

I need to do some last minute Christmas shopping on a smaller budget. I need someplace in the Riverside County, California region. (Preferably in the Dos Lagos, Crossings or Tyler Mall Areas.) What are some stores, in other places too, where I can find the most bang for my buck?
Hit the outlet malls or even the big name stores you never considered like Macy’s or Victoria Secrets. They’re marking their prices down severely because most stores want the stock out for the new season.
